New Year with Whiter Brighter Smile

January 4, 2018

Aren’t we all dreaming about pearly white teeth? If it’s not all of us, at least I haven’t met anybody who doesn’t like white teeth. I’m pretty sure my name is on top of that list of white teeth dreamers. Luckily, I was born with good teeth; I mean they are not pearly white, but not too yellow either. I’m like three to four shade away from the pearly white teeth. Not too shabby due to the fact that I’m addicted to coffee. It literally is my LEGAL drug. To the point that I’m sitting here writing a blog and craving for a cup of coffee because I know I cant drink it until tomorrow morning. Now we know who’s going to wake up at 5 Am to just drink coffee :).

Unfortunately, I have a very sensitive teeth and gum. Teeth whitening has always been a challenge for me. I tried almost all the natural DIY teeth whitening that I could from coconut oil, turmeric to mixing peroxide and baking soda and etc. I’ll be real with you and say, they don’t really work or at least they didn’t really work for me. I also bought the self-whitening products that can be done at home. They actually work if you being very consistent, they just don’t whiten your teeth overnight. Using them consistently really made my teeth sore and more sensitive.

Being that said, it made me even more skeptical to go out there and get them done professionally. I always thought if the ones I use at home make my teeth sensitive then the ones at the clinic would be worse because they are stronger.

You guys, I was wrong and dumb. I didn’t even give it a chance to go somewhere and get a simple consultation until today. And Today, Naturally White Houston made my dream come true. Little to none sensitivity, my teeth turned whiter instantly and my smile just got brighter. Based on the chart they used my teeth turned 2 shades whiter which is a shade away from pearly white. The products they use are made of a plant and mineral based formula.

Teeth Whitening Houston Review and experience with naturally white houston

What is the process?

The whole process took about an hour fifteen minutes. Basically, three sets of 20 minutes. First, they put the famous gel on your teeth. The ingredients in their gel are “a food grade hydrogen peroxide that contains three key minerals to stabilize and strengthen the enamel.”  Then they put the LED light front of the teeth for 20 minutes at a time. The LED light job is to accelerate the whitening process. The whitening should last up to a year depending on how you take care of your teeth.

When you get your teeth whitened, they ask you to not drink or eat any dark color foods and drinks. The next morning, you can definitely go back to your routine and drink and eat them. However, consuming dark color foods and drinks will shorten the lasting effects to less than a year. As you can guess, there is no way I would give up on my coffee, and I tried before, but I will drink it with a straw and try my best to brush my teeth after.

What are the darker color foods and drinks?

Some of these foods and drinks include coffee (ok, we already know), dark teas ( Yes, including Persian tea), red wine, cola, ketchup, mustard, soy sauce, and etc. basically, follow this rule”if it will stain your clothes, it will stain your teeth”.

Based on my wonderful experience, I highly recommend Naturally White to those of you who like to have a brighter smile but have sensitive teeth like me. Unfortunately, as of right now they only have locations in Houston and Sothern California, Corona Del Mar, but very soon they are expanding their business to different locations.

If you are reading this and thinking about getting your teeth whitened, this is the best time because they are currently offering 50% off until Jan 15th.

Don’t forget to let them know you heard about them from your gal, Parmsi. 😉

Have a bright weekend loves!
