Hello, Beautiful People, It’s been a minute since we talked last time. It has been a crazy week, actually almost 2 weeks in Houston. I know all you guys heard or see what has happened, Hurricane Harvey. I really don’t like to go into details about what I experienced or how it was to bore you unless you guys like to read a post about it lol.
You can’t really go wrong with a simple classic Leather Skirt. Whether you keep it basic, like me here, with a T-shirt or dress it up with a blouse, leather skirts have become the staple piece in my wardrobe.
You probably thinking to yourself, Girl we already saw this H&M Leather Skirt and IRO Tshirt in your previous blogs. Guys, I know but I really love them both and honestly, it is the transitional season for me. It is the season that I don’t like to let go of summer but I’m too excited for fall at the same time. That being said, I really don’t shop in transitional season.
One reason I chose this outfit for this blog is that both are such versatile pieces you can wear all year around. The secret is wearing leather skirt channels coolness, like you tried hard but not too hard. You really don’t have to break a bank to look cool, thanks to Faux Leather skirts’ price points. However, try to shop wisely when it comes to buying vegan leather pieces; nobody likes to see you in a nylon looking outfit with a chemical smell. ( I shared my personal tips on how to shop for faux leather in this blog post.)
I wrapped up the outfit by wearing my current favorite affordable Zara Sandals. As we all know, I am channeling my inner mom recently, and these type of sandals were my mom’s best friends back in 90s early 2000. they actually are one of the most comfortable $30 Sandals I own in my closet. Last but not least, I sported my classic Black Boy Bag in this look.
I hope you guys are having a great week so far and had a best labor day weekend yet.
- P.S. my Eye-Shadow in this look is Jaclyn Hill Morphy Palette. Let me know if you like to see some tutorial on it ;).
