Guys all I can think of are Metallic colors recently. It’s no news that fashion is cyclical. As soon as we are tired of one trend, another old favorite comes back into play. I’ve been enjoying watching the 80s came back. The decade of bold style, colors, and silhouettes with trends spanning oversized blazers, pearls, and oversized earrings. Metallic clothes and accessories were a futuristic trend; Women loved their gold and silver with the occasional dashes of bronze, copper, of course, full on 80s.
Honestly, I’m in love with every piece of this outfit because of their versatility. Let’s start from this absolutely gorgeous Stella McCartney metallic top. Stella never disappoints me. If you guys have been reading my blogs from the beginning, you might remember the Stella McCartney blog post.
This metallic top was on my wish list for a long time especially the copper color one. I couldn’t get my hands on it since it was sold out as soon as I spotted it. Of course, I didn’t give up and finally found a brand new one five months later at my favorite Luxury consignment store, The Little Bird. I can’t wait to rock this metallic top in upcoming fall and winter. Pairing this metallic top with leather and high-waist denim pants will be my thing this fall.
In this look, I paired the metallic top with my all time favorite high-waist white shorts. These shorts might look very familiar to you (Instagram) since I’ve been wearing them almost every week. They are the most comfortable shorts for spring and summer time. The fit is so amazing that I think they look great on any body types.
As far as jewelry goes, I kept it very minimal to have the metallic shine through. To me, nothing is more fun than this cute flat bucket bag. I love how I can wear it as a cross body for casual looks or use the top handle for dressing up an outfit. The silver hardware goes perfectly with the metallic top and shoes. Speaking of shoes, you guys know how much I love my metallic Jimmy Choo sandals. They literally look good in any outfit. Wear them with all types of types of denim, dresses, rompers, or anything and they still look amazing.
