This is officially the coolest button-up shirt dress of ALL TIME. Let’s be real, I’ve never been a big fan of it until when I put this Zara shirt dress on for the first time. Not that I didn’t own any, but they usually were my favorites on my lazy days. Talking about those hormonal, unproductive, not in a mood, don’t talk to me kind of days LOL.
Shirt Dress Style
All jokes aside, I’m glad for shirt dress existence and being a legendary warrior against this Houston heat. You know, sometimes breathing gets hard when you are outside for long especially during daytime.
Unfortunately, summers are pretty brutal around here. I honestly used to think So-Cal summer was bad, but now all I can dream of is LA summer heat.
Anywhooo, What I love the most about this shirtdress is its unique neckline and collar. They make the dress stand out next to the regular shirt dress.
To me, this dress is very versatile. I can wear it with sneakers and flats while running errands. Pair it with wedges, sandals, and heels for a summer night out or brunch. In my case, I wore it to a brunch date last Sunday.
Honestly, the only con about this shirt dress is its length. I just wish it was a tiny bit longer or at least didn’t have the side slits. It fits absolutely perfect on 5’2” frame or smaller. I ended up wearing my denim shorts under to prevent flashing while trying to sit on the bar chair.
This cute Chloe bag is seamless in almost any outfit. The size is just perfect for me. I love the fact that I can choose to wear it as a cross body or hold the top handle. Wrapped up the look wearing my favorite slides to match the bag since blush pink has always been my favorite.
Hope you all have an amazing week and kick butt!!! I’m leaving tomorrow to go back home, San Francisco. Let’s just say I’m on cloud nine right now!
