Winter Storm & Leather Jacket

January 19, 2018
Happy Friday Loves!! Goshhhh It has been so freezing cold in Houston. Winter storm hit us on Monday and it snowed here on Tuesday. I moved to Houston almost three years ago and it has never been this cold lol. Although the winter storm has already moved, I still wear six layers of clothes because the weather is still below 40 degrees. I’m a Cali girl, so 50-degree weather is COLD for me lol. Thankfully, this weekend will be 70-73 degrees, but rain will be our guest. Honestly, I said all these to say shooting blog post pictures are very challenging now. More power to all East-Coast bloggers who get out there and freeze their Asses off to take pictures and create contents. Continue Reading…

Christmas was amazing for us this year! After a very long long time, I was enjoying myself rather than working on my days off. By enjoying myself, I mean EATING :), you know it if you saw my Insta-Stories over the weekend.

Perfect Pink Bomber Jacket for Fall & Spring

December 16, 2017
Styling bomber jacket from fall to spring
Who doesn’t like to invest money in a bomber jacket that’s perfect for both Fall and Spring? Not too thin to be cold in Fall nor too heavy in springtime. Let’s talk about the color of this bomber jacket that has always been my favorite. Pink is my absolute favorite color, but not all pink do the same for me. I like muted, more settle pinks, like blush and deeper/darker blushes. it’s one of those colors that you can easily pair with different color garments in a look, and transition it from fall to spring. pair it with black, Gray, Burgundy, and navy in Fall; and combine it with baby blue, Pastels, and white in spring.

You won’t believe How Affordable this Velvet Duster is?

December 13, 2017
Okayyy Houston! We had a moment of a cold front with snow last week, and now all is gone back to the high 60s. Promise, I’m not complaining. Actually, believe it or not, Fall is my favorite time of the year in Houston. Basically, it feels like SF weather in summer lol, in the 70s with very minimal humidity. I don’t know why I have to talk about the weather here every time, so annoying I know. It feels like I’m a weather news gal lol Continue Reading…

Oversized Blazer Game!

May 24, 2016
I still feel like because of the weather craziness, the transitional season is not over yet and we all know, this time of the season can be expensive. So, instead of crying over that you can’t spend a dime on your wardrobe because of your summer vacation expenses; revisit your beloved closet and grab a favorite piece from the past seasons, make sure it is still wearable based on the climate, and wear it differently.
There are times that I get stock between 80s and 90s trends specially when I’m homesick and missing my mom. Since I’m in my mid twenties, all I can think of is what my mom used to wear in her twenties (In 1990s). Her wardrobe was filled with all 90s goodies, different bodysuits, high waist denim pants, crop tops and a little throwback of 80s, oversized blazers with shoulder pads.

I can say this look is the offspring of these two decades, but more on a settle side (No Neon Please). There is something cool about oversized blazers; I think they make you stand out from other women in public since most of women are into more of a tailored and slim fit ones or I should say more feminine styles. Believe it or not, they make me feel sexy, and they give a bit of Parisian vibe to the outfits. I preferably try to find the ones that are larger than my size (here the blazer is 8 size bigger) :), but if I decide to buy them from the boys department, I like the ones without or minimal sleeve buttons because rolling up the sleeves is way cooler than hiding our sexy arms and wrists underneath them. The length of these type of blazers is perfect, right below the butt, which complements a pair of high waist denim pants (related post), shorts, and skirt suitably. There shouldn’t be any special occasion to wear them; in fact you can wear them all the time in most seasons.
For this look, I wore the blazer with a pair of high-waist shorts that I basically live in since I bought them, and chose the red bodysuit to give the look a bit of color and make it not too dressed up. Guys! You can never go wrong with the strapped sandals. I promise you they go with everything in your closet. They are basically my to go shoes, and I’m sure you saw them many times in my blog posts. Last but not least, I thought Gold accessories would complement this look properly. Since it says 1990 on the body suit, I wore my favorite gold choker and layered it with a double gold necklace. Also, I couldn’t resist not having an arm party, so I grabbed my gold cuff and paired it with the necklaces.

Reliving the 90s| Mini Skirt & Flatform Shoes

May 20, 2016
SPRING is GREAT. The sun shines in most cities except Houston, as I’m writing this sentence in my bedroom aka office lol, Houstonians are facing the worst thunderstorm of their lives. God knows how we are going to have our photo shoot today:(. Since the weather is about to get better, it’s the official time to release ourselves from the prison of coldness that made us put sweaters and pants on most of the season.

IT IS LEG SEASON LADIES! Let that midi skirt be the new mini skirt again.

Iro shirt and gray mini skirt

I understand that we already talked about this Stella McCartney skirt before (Related blog), but I’ve like to show you how I invest on something more expensive. I make sure I can wear it for at least 2 seasons or even all year around.

The soft, flexible combination of wool and cotton make this Stella McCartney skirt the perfect fit for a spring day. As if you already read the old blog post, you know how much I love the exquisite detailing on the front. The rope applique’ quickly enhances this gray ensemble from simple to elegant.

IRO destroyed Tshirt

I’m a big fan of all different sorts of T-shirts because I believe they go with all types of bottoms, skirts, shorts, and pants. I like to collect all different types of T-shirts from slim fit to 3 size bigger than my actual size lol. Well, it really depends on what I’m wearing it with. And lets not talk about how important is collecting the right basic white T-shirts for different looks because it needs its own separate blog post.
I have a weird obsession over distressed T-shirts because I think they dressed down the look just the right amount, and give the look a bit of edgy vibe. For this outfit, I paired the skirt with my favorite IRO T-shirt, which is 3 size bigger than my usual size. 🙂 The shirt is 100 percent linen, which makes it very soft and comfortable. The color goes pretty much with anything in my closet, so this buy has been a WIN WIN situation.

Oh By the way, aren’t we all reliving the 90s all over again?

In this case, nothing is better than wrapping up the look with my favorite chunky flat-form sandals and leather choker. Well if you miss Spice Gilrs, it’s a best time to invest in some flat/plat-form sandals. For me, I can never have enough of them, so I will post some of my favorite ones down below this post.

Well, I blamed it on the weather to steal his denim jacket. 🙂

Dior S/S 2016 Haute Couture

January 25, 2016

Seven young unknown designers proved to us magic still happens in the Dior world even after Simon left last October. I am totally speechless after watching this show! Full-skirted dresses were shrugged off the shoulder which represented romance and modern aesthetic. Silk skirts tasseled passed the knee gave them seductive movement. The chiffon and tulle look evoked the ecstatic feeling of the 1920s.

Here are some of my favorite looks from the showm heading element
