Good Morning beauties! Finally the weekend has arrived. Our family members are in town from overseas, and it’s a perfect excuse to go on a little weekend getaway. I’m not exactly sure what city we are going to, but as far as I know the place we are staying at is next to Blanco River. I can’t wait to share my experience with you guys when I’m back! 🙂
I’m not going to bored you guys by saying how much or why I love Montrose area and all its vintage shops because you already know from the previous posts. One of my absolute favorite vintage shops is Pavement. Besides shopping there, you can also sell the clothes that you don’t like or wear anymore. What they do is, they set a price they will sell in their shop on your item and give you fifty percent of the price in cash or sixty percent in store credit. Every time I go there, I have an amazing experience. Their customer service is fantastic, and the employees are genuinely nice and helpful.
I love hunting for vintage Jackets, jewels, and bags. Couple of weeks ago, I found this amazing 80s vintage acid wash denim jacket, and couldn’t wait to catch a perfect day to share it with you. It has different patches and the original owner has done color paints all over it. There is something special about it which makes me feel good every time I put it on. If you are into these types of jacket, but you never buy them because you have no idea how to style them, I hope reading this post inspires you to step out of your comfort zone. Wear whatever you desire, and however you like!
If anybody still loves the skintight dresses or pencil skirts, this jacket is for them. I decided to keep my look denim over denim. I paired the jacket with my burgundy cropped top and one of my old skinny boyfriend jeans. I chose to stay with similar shades of colors in the top, shoes, and handbag to have all the attention on the jacket to make it the statement piece of the look.
Have a great weekend!

Hello Friends and family! I hope you are having a happiest Friday! We still haven’t planned anything for this weekend, and by saying PLAN I mean we haven’t decided where to take pictures on Sunday. Since I came back from San Francisco, we’ve wanted to go to Austin for the shoot, but the weather has been playing with us for the past two weeks. Who knows we might make it happen this Sunday if my phone don’t lie because as of now, it says it will be mostly sunny. What are your plans for this weekend? anything exciting?
By now, you guys should have noticed how much I love to have a statement piece in my outfits. In this case, I went for a casual look, that could be used for any daily occasions.
- Plain black bodysuit
- Distressed denim pants in any color; I preferred dark grey because of the black body suit.
- Any kind of shoes, from tennis shoes (here) to flats, wedge sandals or booties. I chose to stay with my dark shades and wear my favorite chunky platform sandals.
- Last but not least => any type of Kimono or kaftan. 🙂
I have to thank the beautiful city of angels and my dear friend who made me want to buy all the Kimonos on the planet that I can’t afford! I was cleaning my messy closet and making it ready for summer, when noticed this beautiful kimono which my fabulous friend passed on to me and couldn’t resist not sharing it with you guys. I can honestly say I have worn it more than zillion times for the past year. It is such a special piece that every time I put on, all the gold detailing, flowers, color combination, and patterns remind me of my Middle Eastern roots LOL.
Okay, let’s go back to why I chose to stay with dark shades and mostly black. My main focus on this look was making sure that the kimono is standing out ( Of course I wanted to look skinnier too ). Also, the kimono itself has black color in it, so I tried to make the black parts blend in with the rest of my outfit and make the gold details, flowers, patterns, and all the cream, white, and red colors to shine out through the whole look. I went with all gold accessories to blend in with the kimono’s detail work, and stayed with black purse to make sure the focus is still on the statement piece.
One of the great things about kimonos is that you can wear them with almost anything and still look unique and stylish.
Examples=> midi skin tight dress, Pencil skirt, any denim pants or shorts, and over bathing suit.

Hi Everyone! I have a feeling that summertime bliss is going to kick in to a high gear in Houston this year, and my wardrobe is so ready for this! 🙂
With this hot weather, there is nothing better than wearing something light. My outfit choices are really depend on my mood on that particular day. I think my wrapped top/cover from (Free People) reflects the relaxed energy. It is also an effortless, stylish comfort that is suitable for the beach, at a concert or a music festival, or on a hot summary day for brunch. I fell in love with this outfit and think that it’s a match made in co-ord heaven. I love the length of the top, especially when it twirls around whenever there is a breeze. The fit and cut of this khaki wrapped top and high waist Vintage denim shorts are incredibly comfortable and complementary. I didn’t go crazy to accessorize the look since the top already had beautiful details including the gathered neck and a beautiful braided wrapped belt, so I went with my vintage look white stone earrings and a big cuff. I wrapped up my look with my absolute favorite silver sandals. Since the look was very relaxed, I chose not to carry any purse.

Happy Wednesday beautiful people! I hope you guys had an amazing weekend!
You know those days where you dig through everything in your closet and think, “I have absolutely nothing to wear”? Well, those days happen to me often than you’d think, especially when I’m pressed for time. Thank goodness to leather pants. They never fail to elevate our style game in any occasion. I can say they are one of my hassle-free and stylish pieces that I wear a lot this time of the year.
I like the way these Zara boots merge with the pants, giving the illusion that they are attached to each other. I enjoy being able to mix high street with high-end pieces because it creates a more grounded look, don’t you think? To complete the outfit, I felt that I needed to look springier, so I went with my favorite dusty pink purse and scarf. I love how the white color stands against the black pants and grey clouds. Remember, you don’t need a special occasion to wear leather pants. I’d wear them everyday if I could, weather at work or out for brunch on the weekends with the important people in my life. Give me an edgy look that’s casual and contemporary, I’m in!

I like everything old and vintage that has history and culture in it. I could never call myself a wine person, but as I get older, I like having a sip and knowing the history behind the vintage grapes I’m drinking. 🙂 I would say Napa Valley is one of the must to go places when you are spending time in Northern California. I like to explore different vineyards every time I go to Sonoma or Napa Valley. This time, my family and I visited the enchanting Inglenook Winery, and I can honestly say that there is no winery quite like this. Beautiful tree wines, green hills, and an old gorgous castle, which had me in awe, surrounded us.
Nothing was more perfect than wearing this amazing long dress by Eshakti on that special day. Eshakti is an online women’s apparel company who gives you the opportunity to customize their garments by your own touch and style. So each client receives her own customized Eshakti piece. When I saw this beautiful red/orange 50’s style inspired dress, it felt as if it was made for me. It is corset fitted on the top and flares out from the waist down. I love how this dress sits on the body, and how comfortable and light weighted is for vacation. I can wear it everyday for any occasion, whether I’m lounging by the pool, at a vineyard, or walking on the beach. As always, versatility is key!
I customized the short sleeves to cap-sleeves to give it a more of a 50’s look, and chose to go with a lower V-neck. For a sexier look, I would recommend having the side slit higher. I absolutely adore this dress, and can’t wait to rock it on the beach or at spring/summer parties. 🙂 Since the dress was bright red, I decided to go with a pair of nude platform sandals and a green vintage look bag.
after looking at this Eshakti dress and the Alice & Olivia dress, from the previous fashion post, some of you guys might notice how much I like the bird designs or prints on the apparels since they represent Freedom.
After all isn’t what we are looking for in life? 🙂

A 16 year old girl moved from Iran to San Francisco a decade ago wondering about what she should do with her life. It took me only eight years 🙂 to finally realize I must follow my heart and do what I’ve always loved. I must say, I am lucky enough to have an amazing partner who has encouraged me to do what I have passion for.
Note to Self: Late is better than Never, and everything you imagine is REAL.
Lets go back to where it all got started, Redwood Shores, CA. Shores will always be home where I’d spent most of my teenage years with my beautiful family. Every time I go back there to visit my family, I have to stroll around the neighborhood to refresh some good memories. From volunteering at my sister’s school, tutoring at the library, to having my first office job at a bank two blocks away from home. So, I could not resist sharing with you some of my favorite spots in the area.
Probably you guys already saw the look on Instagram few days ago. 🙂 Yes, I can never wait! As you know I love jump suits! To me they are the most comfortable, stylish, effortless garments that you can wear any time of the day or night for any occasion. For this look, I paired the jumpsuit with my favorite sandal pumps, that you already saw me wearing a zillion times, and a blush color clutch to give it more of a spring look. As it was getting darker, the weather got cooler, so I decided to give it a try and wear my black leather jacket over it. What do you guys think?
You can also wear this jumpsuit with flat shoes and wear an oversized knit top over it for cooler nights and still be stylish. (That’s what I wore later that night at a family dinner) 🙂
I hope you guys are having an amazing weekend!

Sunday is my favorite day of the week. My beau and I try our best to maintain our Sunday brunch and photo-shoot ritual every week. Although it seems to be a relaxing day, sometimes it’s the busiest day of the week. There are family and friend gatherings on Sundays at times which we need to attend. We have to rush the shoot in the morning so we don’t have to postpone them for later that day after a full meal with bloated body and tired face. We absolutely don’t like to miss out on seeing our loved ones, so we try to plan the day ahead. On those Sundays, I usually wake up pretty early to get ready for the shoot, so we get the best out of the daylight. I have to keep my makeup looking fresh throughout the day, so I grab some of my touchup goodies in my purse; such as a pencil eye and lip liner, lipstick, blush and highlighter. As far as the outfit goes, I need to pick something that works for the blog and the event that day, since there is no time to go home and change. For me, Sundays are called for pairing a bodysuit with denim pants with the twist of style.
I absolutely adore this long dress/cover-up I was wearing for this look. I love the way the fabric wrapped around my body and how flattering it was. I like all the lace detail works on the top and how it was fitted until it hit the waist and dropped from the waist down. I have worn it many times for different looks. You can definitely wear it with high waist vintage Levis shorts for summer or as a beautiful cover up over your swimsuits.
Happiest of Spring to you beautiful people. It has been a great week so far. It started beautifully right after Persian New Year, which only means that it’s time for me to go back home and visit my family, whom I miss dearly, next week. I can’t wait to share with you some snaps from the Bay Area. The city is only my greatest inspiration.
So far we have been experiencing a rather windy spring in Houston. This orange Bell Sleeve dress was perfect for the first day of spring like an Orange Blossom that admires spring. I’ve always loved 70s fashion, but bell-bottoms are my absolute favorite weather on trousers or sleeves. I love how the sleeve fits until a certain part of your arm, then flares out in an ethereal bell shape. Bell sleeves can be quite the statement, so wear your flared sleeves with neutral pieces.
If anyone of you guys follow me on any social media, you already saw this dress on my Instagram few weeks ago. I absolutely love the color and how comfortable the dress is. I love how I can wear this dress in any season and occasion. This one definitely was one of my to go dresses for the past season, and I will promise you will see me wearing it with different styles later in spring and summer. Since it was pretty windy that day, I chose to wear my dress with a pair of black tights and booties. I thought this green bag complemented the dress perfectly and gave it an edgier feel.
