That Vintage Jacket Though

May 6, 2016
Good Morning beauties! Finally the weekend has arrived. Our family members are in town from overseas, and it’s a perfect excuse to go on a little weekend getaway. I’m not exactly sure what city we are going to, but as far as I know the place we are staying at is next to Blanco River. I can’t wait to share my experience with you guys when I’m back! 🙂
I’m not going to bored you guys by saying how much or why I love Montrose area and all its vintage shops because you already know from the previous posts. One of my absolute favorite vintage shops is Pavement. Besides shopping there, you can also sell the clothes that you don’t like or wear anymore. What they do is, they set a price they will sell in their shop on your item and give you fifty percent of the price in cash or sixty percent in store credit. Every time I go there, I have an amazing experience. Their customer service is fantastic, and the employees are genuinely nice and helpful.
I love hunting for vintage Jackets, jewels, and bags. Couple of weeks ago, I found this amazing 80s vintage acid wash denim jacket, and couldn’t wait to catch a perfect day to share it with you. It has different patches and the original owner has done color paints all over it. There is something special about it which makes me feel good every time I put it on.  If you are into these types of jacket, but you never buy them because you have no idea how to style them, I hope reading this post inspires you to step out of your comfort zone. Wear whatever you desire, and however you like!

Denim on Denim look

denim Jacket and gucci bag

If anybody still loves the skintight dresses or pencil skirts, this jacket is for them. I decided to keep my look denim over denim. I paired the jacket with my burgundy cropped top and one of my old skinny boyfriend jeans. I chose to stay with similar shades of colors in the top, shoes, and handbag to have all the attention on the jacket to make it the statement piece of the look.

Jumpsuit & Suede Jacket

February 12, 2016

They are easy to wear, stylish and you can dress them up or down. I do get lots of petite clients who are afraid of jumpsuits because they think they have to be slim and tall to wear them. Ladies try them on!! There is no such thing that they are only great for tall people, they actually can make you slimmer and taller. There are many brands out there who make great jumpsuits! I will post some links on the bottom of this post. Continue Reading…

Valentino Rockstud Sandals

February 9, 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

This week I’d like to share one of my Spring wish list items with you. I’ve been obsessed with Valentino since I was a teenager. The design house expresses class and femininity in the garments and shoes. I must say Valentino is one of the most comfortable shoes I own. They mostly use calfskin leather which is very valuable because of its softness and fine grain.

2010 was the year Valentino came out with its famous and iconic Rock-stud Pumps, and ever since, everybody is wearing them. Two years ago, the house started making different Ruck-stud sandals and boots in pumps and flats. Every Spring/Summer season, they come up with new colors on the sandals. Last year was all about the pastel colors and rainbow. This year they just came out with a fantastic color blocking which I die for.
These shoes are so amazing that as soon as you try them on, you want to live in them forever. I love all the color blocking they use on these shoes with the great green thick heels. I love how they use the blue studs instead of the classic silver. The combination of the blue over the cream, green, and pink make the shoes even more special.  The green heels are to die for! They are the perfect height and support, which make the shoes even more comfortable. The calfskin leather is so soft that you can’t even feel anything on your feet!

I know they can be pricey but it’s WORTH it! You can wear them with a pair of denim pants for a casual look or wear them with a fun skirt or a simple dress to dress them up!

Classic Trench Coat

January 29, 2016

Since school starts next Monday, we decided to go on a little getaway before the isolation season begins. As probably some of you guys know I’m a fashion design student who has a full-time job and special love for blogging!

I’ve been to Galveston before, but never went to 21st street. This past weekend we explored Galveston island for our casual weekend look. I must say I’m so impressed with how beautiful the island is! All the old buildings reminded me of the Texan movies my grandpa used to watch. I appreciate any artwork including street art and old architect, they bring my old soul out.

OK! Let’s talk about this amazing trench coat that I’m obsessed with. I usually don’t shop for a particular item in mind. If something catches my eyes and goes with my wardrobe, I have to have it. Something amazing about trench coats are that they go with everything and make your look very sophisticated. I found this coat in one of my favorite stores,, on the sale rack. What makes this trench coat more special and unique is the color combo they used. I love how they used a navy and camel color combo for the plaid design on the back and sleeves; it makes me feel slimmer. I can’t stop wearing this coat since Houston is not cold enough to wear heavy coats.

I love going casual with this coat! I paired it with my faux leather pants from Zara and wore a black top since it’s a great contrast with the classic camel. finally wrapped up my look with my ultimate all time favorite ballet flat shoes.
